Project: FIRE SHOTS! (working project title)
Description: Set of Calendars of ladies and fire gear. The goal is to raise money for a couple charities, have fun, sell some calendars, and watch guys drool - all at the same time
Resources Needed: fire gear, misc props, etc, Sponsors
Models Needed: many
Target Completion Date: FDIC Indianapolis 2008

I have been in contact with a couple charities, and they are interested in helping, which is a good thing. I want to set up 2 to 3 types of calendars, depending on the number of models that are able to get signed up. The versions of the calendars are going to be set as one which can be shown and seen anywhere, the second is more revealing, and the third will be the most revealing.

I have had a great number of positive responses, and many people eager to help. I have even had a lot of guys want to help hold lights and carry equipment to the shoots.

I also need sponsors – companies that want to put their name in the calendars as advertising. The cost of printing calendars is quite high, and the sponsors will be quite helpful.

I have been requested by one of the charities not to promote their name heavily, because of the nature of some of the images which is understandable – the still are helping getting this project going, and a great help with it.

This project is NOT sponsored officially by any fire departments, meaning that tax dollars are not being used to help with this in any way shape or form. If any of the ladies have their own gear that they want to use, I will have to take out the names and specific markings of departments, but that is not a problem, and easily done.

The goal of this is to be ready for the FDIC in Indianapolis in 2008 – this may seem like a long time away, but shooting, printing, etc mean that it is just around the corner.

What is required of the models? LOTS! Not really, but that caught your eye. There are going to be several types of calendars planned, so the shooting is based on your comfort level. We will probably do a shoot to make sure that you are comfortable with being shot, get used to all the chaos, then get to review the images, and make sure that you are ok with them, and decide which images to use. Quite often this shoot ends up bing the actual shoot, because there is all kinds of fun, and good times had by all. Occasionaly, we may do a second shoot later on - this could be for technical reasons, other props become available and such. I am happy to answer any specific questions, simply email me at: chris@chriscphotography.com

What kind of compensation for the model? well, at this point it is all out of the photographers pocket, and they are not too deep, but what is offered is a shoot of whatever they want - up to 2 hrs of shooting time. The final pics for the model will be put to cd and I will sign a release so the model can do whatever she wants with the images. If there are special requests, they are able to be worked out individually.

There is an album of images that I am putting together of more of the shots as they get done. If you are intersted in being shot, and would like to see more samples, contact me and i will provide the link.
Please note – This is a project in planning, and is subject to change without notice. Any images that are used for this project will only be used after approval of model, no images will be used without prior approval.
Legal: Model releases will be on file, and all models for the project MUST be at least 18 years of age.
